Position Summary
The Member Relationship Associate I is a key step in a rewarding career focused on helping members achieve their financial goals and peace of mind. This role delivers exceptional service by assisting members with account transactions, account maintenance, new account openings, and consumer lending requests while identifying opportunities to improve members' financial well-being. MROs engage members in meaningful conversations to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products and services that help them save money, reduce debt, build savings, improve financial flexibility, and strengthen their overall financial health.
This position supports branch operations, resolves member inquiries, maintains accurate records, and ensures all transactions and activities comply with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Base Annual Salary Range: $46,600 ($22.40/hour) - $58,695 ($28.22/hour)
The posted range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position, with final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
Essential Duties- Deliver outstanding member service and build trusted member relationships.
- Open and service deposit accounts and assist with consumer lending solutions.
- Identify opportunities to recommend products and services that support member financial goals.
- Resolve member issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain operational accuracy and compliance standards.
- Contribute to branch performance and member satisfaction goals.
- 2+ years of related experience in Financial Services or equivalent.
- Thorough knowledge of member services and products provided.
- Knowledge of credit union loan services, policies, and procedures.
- Understanding of related legal and regulatory standards, and required loan documentation.
- Knowledge of consumer and residential lending practices.
- Excellent interviewing, communication and public relations skills.
- Strong analytical and financial skills.
- Professional appearance, dress, and attitude.
- Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment including 10-key calculations, printer, telephone and notary stamp.
- Solid math abilities.
