Fitness Desk Attendant

The gorgeous Waldorf Astoria Resort in Maui, Grand Wailea, is looking for a Fitness Desk Attendant to join their wellness team!

Located on 40 acres of lush tropical gardens, this Forbes 4-Star, AAA 4-Diamond property is consistently ranked among the world's best resorts with 780 rooms, 100,000 square feet of banquet space, and 7 food and beverage outlets. This includes 3 restaurants, 3 bars, a cafe, and in-room dining.

  • Classification:
    Part-Time
  • Shift: Various - must have availability to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays.
  • Pay Rate:
    The hourly rate is $22.50 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

As a Fitness Desk Attendant, you're not just ensuring a clean and safe fitness center environment – you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

  • Greet and assist guests:
    Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to all guest interactions, respond promptly to requests, and resolve any issues in a friendly, efficient manner
  • Coordinate fitness center set up:
    Process class, court, and program registrations; issue and track locker keys, radios, and rental equipment
  • Maintain a clean, inviting environment:
    Clean and sanitize fitness areas including locker rooms, class spaces, and equipment in compliance with health and safety standards
  • Manage fitness center supplies:
    Monitor and restock towels, cups, merchandise, and other amenities as needed
  • Process transactions with care:
    Accurately total and handle guest payments using the point-of-sale system; manage cash transactions, process credit and debit cards, issue change, and redeem gift certificates/cards
