Come work on Mauis most luxurious vessels, offering the “highest of royalty” Hospitality and Maui Dive Shop are currently hiring CREW MEMBERS for all charters and onboard/in-water experiences. Applicants must be dependable, with strong interpersonal skills, independent work ethic, and proficient on and in the ocean. Effective communication, enthusiasm and the highest level of hospitality are essential.
Duties (NOT ALL INCLUSIVE)- Ensure a safe operation of USCG Inspected Vessel
- Pre-trip provisioning, preparation, and vessel inspection
- Provide an enjoyable, guest‑centric and luxury experience throughout the excursion, including serving food and beverage
- Post‑trip cleaning and resupply
- Operation of company‑provided PUC support vehicles
- Routine maintenance and communication of critical maintenance needs
- In‑water and topside snorkel instruction and supervision
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or its equivalent from an accredited institution (preferred)
- Previous experience in hospitality/restaurant/tourist industry (preferred)
- Current First Aid/CPR and Oxygen Provider
- Valid Driver’s License
- Good swimmer and comfortable in the open ocean (Required) – capable of free‑diving to a depth of 20 ft
- Resident of Maui preferred
- Must be able to walk on various types of surfaces including rough terrain, sitting, standing, maintaining balance, on the beach, and in the water, and working alone
- Must be able to work in various work settings such as exposure to sunlight and outside temperature
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all persons contacted during the work
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply regulations and safe practices
- Ability to operate assigned equipment, read and interpret documents
- Ability to multi‑task
- Ability to speak and write clearly and concisely
- Must be able to operate with little or no supervision
- Must be willing to work holidays, nights, and weekends
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude
- Team Player, positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Previous maritime and/or luxury charter experience is a plus
- Knowledge of local destinations
- Basic knowledge of maintenance of vessels a plus
