Position:
Grounds Maintenance Technician (This position is with the Department of Land & Natural Resources).
Cares for, maintains and beautifies an assigned park area, playground or gymnasium; may operate a power mower; and performs other related duties as assigned.
QualificationsLegal authorization to work

All applicants must be citizens, nationals or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or otherwise eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment.
Experience
:
None required.
Knowledge of
:
The care and cultivation of shrubs, flowers, trees and lawns; operation and care of grounds maintenance equipment and tools.
Ability to
:
Understand and follow oral and written instructions; operate hand and power equipment and tools used in grounds maintenance; learn pertinent rules and regulations and enforce them with tact and courtesy.
Driver's License
:
Applicants must possess a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.
Special Requirements
:
