Security Officer

Overview

Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Security Officer. Do you have an active Hawaii Guard Card and at least 4 years of security experience? Let us help you make your next big career move a reality!

In this role, you will be responsible for the safety and security of industrial and commercial grounds in Kihei, Maui. You will engage in a combination of gate safeguarding, foot patrols, and mobile patrols to protect assets and personnel. You will rely on your experience to plan and accomplish safety goals while working under general supervision in a 24-hour operations environment.

• Periodically patrol buildings and grounds of industrial plants, commercial establishments, and work sites.
• Manage guardhouse and gate safeguarding duties to control access.
• Conduct foot and mobile patrols to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Provide emergency response support, including CPR if required.
• Perform a variety of tasks with a degree of creativity and latitude to ensure site safety.
• Operate company vehicles for mobile patrol duties.

• Active Hawaii Guard Card (Mandatory: Candidates without an active card will not be considered).
• 4–6 years of experience in the security field or a related area.
• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license (role requires being a Company Driver).
• Familiarity with standard security concepts, practices, and procedures.

• Previous experience in industrial or commercial site security.
• CPR certification.
• Strong judgment and the ability to work independently under general supervision.
• Ability to handle shift rotations (7:00 am – 3:30 pm, 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm, or 11:30 pm – 8:00 am).

$17.50 - $25.00 /hr.
