Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our growing fracking/oilfield services company. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and extensive experience using Quick Books Online (QBO) and Microsoft Excel
. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting the company's financial reporting needs.

• Manage daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Prepare and review journal entries.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Analyze financial data and provide reports to management.
• Work closely with operations to track job costs and project profitability.
• Assist with audits and tax preparation.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required).
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience

• Advanced proficiency in Quick Books Online (QBO).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Experience in the oil & gas, fracking, or energy industry

• Experience with job costing and project accounting.
• CPA designation or CPA candidate is a plus.
