Part Time- Member Success Coordinator - Fitness Center

Position Details

Floor Attendant at KC Excel Fitness Center will provide exceptional customer service to members and guests while maintaining a friendly, welcoming environment. This position serves as the fitness center point of contact for inquiries and assists with a variety of tasks to ensure smooth operations of the fitness center.

• Greet members and visitors with a positive attitude and assist with check‑ins, membership inquiries, and general questions.
• Handle membership sign‑ups, renewals, and cancellations, ensuring accurate data entry and payment processing.
• Communicate locker room closures or updates to members in advance.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and common areas.
• Collaborate with fitness trainers, maintenance staff, and other departments to address member concerns or facility issues.
• Address member concerns or complaints promptly, escalating issues to the supervisor as necessary.
• Assist in organizing and promoting special events or fitness programs as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prior experience in a fitness or customer service environment preferred.

• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

• Flexible shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on facility needs; primarily mid‑day (9 am to 3 pm).

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and some evenings.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Limited exposure to physical risk.

Provide resources for safe operation of units and support workplace safety.

• Pay range up to $10–$12 per hour depending on experience, up to 19 hours per week.
• Worker’s Compensation.
• Limited Part‑Time Retirement Plan.
