Primary PurposeProvide leadership in developing and implementing the district's bilingual program, including LPAC and TELPAS processes, while supporting classroom instruction to improve outcomes for Emergent Bilingual (EB) students. Collaborate with teachers and district staff to implement effective instructional practices and ensure program compliance.
Qualifications- Education: Bachelor's Degree
- Certifications: Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements in bilingual education, preferred
- Special Knowledge/
Skills:
Knowledge of curriculum and instruction;
Knowledge of strategies and materials for the education of bilingual students;
Knowledge of LPAC and TELPAS requirements;
Ability to utilize technology and information resources;
Ability to communicate effectively with bilingual parents and students;
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills;
Ability to fluently read, write, and speak in English and Spanish - Experience: Three years experience as a bilingual teacher, preferred
Salary Range: $51,137 to $62,500
