Test Technician - KIF

Salary Range: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour.

• Perform various electronic and technical assignments such as tuning, troubleshooting, adjusting, and testing microwave tubes, products, devices, and systems using schematics, engineering drawings, and instructions.
• Operate related electronic and mechanical equipment necessary to tune, test, and troubleshoot specific products or equipment.
• Use predetermined methods, sequences, and set‑ups to visually test equipment, making necessary modifications and adjustments.
• Recommend changes or modifications to improve the operation or quality of equipment.
• Conduct engineering or production tests and report data in prescribed format.
• Perform moderate analysis of rejected, returned, and in‑process microwave tubes in support of engineering and manufacturing as required.
• Provide technical assistance as necessary.
• Perform other duties as needed and assigned.

• Ability to use VNA, PNA, oscilloscopes, DVMs, spectrum analyzers, and other test equipment.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Team‑oriented and strong communication skills.
• Good manual dexterity, eye/hand coordination, and ability to work on a microscope for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Typically requires an A.A. degree in an appropriate technology or equivalent training, or 3–5 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of basic fundamentals in the assigned area and ability to use common equipment and instruments.
• Eligibility for ITAR/EAR-controlled technology: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual as defined under ITAR.
