Job Description

SUMMARY

The Driver Recruiter will support hiring managers in the recruitment of Class A CDL truck drivers. This position will utilize applicant tracking system to review applications, communicate with applicants, communicate with hiring managers and facilitate a timely, responsible recruitment process. Screen and evaluate applicants and refers qualified applicants to hiring manager for interviews, and maintain follow-up communication with hiring manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Manage high volume applicant tracking system by moving applicants through the hiring process, background screenings and update status.

* Prospect candidates utilizing tools, such as cold calling, database sources, social media, employee referrals, and online advertising.

* Explain to applicants/candidates/employees of job duties, and responsibilities, compensation/benefits, work schedules, employee benefits, company policies, and other related information.

* Generate recruitment reports both manually and using applicant tracking system

* Research ways to source applicants

* Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition.

Job Requirements EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

High School Degree or equivalent;
To perform this job successfully, the ideal candidate must have previous experience recruiting drivers and experience with DOT driver regulations and guidelines. Ability to source talent from a variety of sources including: internet, job postings/advertisements, direct sourcing, resume database, employee referrals, networking, etc. Must be an approachable and professional individual who knows how to connect with others.
