Salary:
This is a full-time, twelve (12) month position at 232 days, with a salary in the range of $82,572.00 to $.
Purpose:
Plan, administer, secure, monitor, and continuously improve ESC Region 13's enterprise Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra , Azure cloud, Windows Server, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments. Provide technical leadership and Tier 3 support for identity and access management, collaboration services, cloud resources, server lifecycle management, automation, integrations, backup, recovery, security, and system availability. Ensure that enterprise systems are reliable, scalable, documented, and aligned with organizational security, compliance, and operational requirements.
Required Qualifications:- Three years of experience administering enterprise Microsoft environments, including Windows Server, Active Directory Domain Services, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Power Shell.
- Two years of experience administering Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, One Drive, Teams, licensing, service health, and tenant configuration.
- Two years of experience using the Microsoft Entra admin center to manage users, groups, roles, authentication methods, multifactor authentication, Conditional Access, enterprise applications, app registrations, service principals, and identity lifecycle processes.
- Two years of experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers in a production environment.
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux provisioning, package and repository management, system services, Linux, firewall, SSH, storage, permissions, logging, patching, performance monitoring, backup, and security hardening.
- One year of experience administering Microsoft Azure resources, including subscriptions, resource groups, role-based access, virtual machines, storage, networking, monitoring, and backup.
- One year of experience using Power Shell and Microsoft Graph for tenant administration, reporting, bulk changes, integration, or workflow automation.
- One year of experience supporting Power Apps and Power Automate, including environments, permissions, connectors, solutions, and data policies.
- Three years of experience supporting cybersecurity controls and technologies such as endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, security monitoring, SIEM, backup, and incident response.
- Experience providing Tier 3 technical support and maintaining accurate technical documentation.
- Bachelor's degree or technical degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Current Microsoft certification in Microsoft 365, Azure, Microsoft Entra , or Microsoft Power Platform.
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator certification or comparable Linux certification.
- Experience with hybrid identity using Microsoft Entra Connect Sync or Microsoft Entra Cloud Sync.
- Experience with Exchange hybrid configurations and SharePoint Online administration.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, or related security and compliance tools.
- Experience with Power Platform governance, solution lifecycle management, connectors, and data loss prevention controls.
- Experience with REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, JSON, OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect.
- Proficiency in Bash, Python, or Ansible for Linux automation and configuration management.
- Experience with VMware vSphere, hyperconverged infrastructure, enterprise backup systems, disaster recovery, and high availability.
- Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other enterprise database platforms.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues quickly and effectively.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Microsoft Entra , identity and access management, and Microsoft cloud service operations.
- Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration and Linux command line tools.
- Proficiency in Power Shell, Microsoft Graph, Bash, and administrative scripting practices.
