We're looking for an experienced Autobody or Industrial Painter to join our dynamic team and help us continue producing world-class boats.

JOB SUMMARY:

Operates spray equipment to apply gel coat and/or flake to boat molds as per order specifications.

JOB DUTIES:

* Read work orders to check for color to be applied in which area

* Assure proper taping has been performed

* Use of air and airless bulk spray guns and hand pot spray gun to apply gel coat and/or flake to molds in required thickness

* Move boat molds and/or small parts in and out of gel coat booth

* Clean and maintain spray equipment and keep in proper working order

* Clean and maintain spray booth

* Any other duties assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Ability to work early morning hours (5:00a.m.) and flexible hours

* Wear respirator for 10+ hours a day

* Understand the purpose of and how to use a mil-gauge

* Be able to read and write English and be able to paint any color on decks or hulls

* Color sensitivity

* Ability to perform walking, standing, bending, pushing/pulling for 8+ hours a day

* Ability to lift 20 lbs.

* Ability to work in heat

* Ability to work in an environment with chemical fumes, noise

* Manual dexterity

* Detail oriented

* Have good quality habits

* Have good attendance habits

* Ability to follow instructions accurately
