Manufacturing Welder 3

This position is responsible for performing moderate manufacturing weld fabrications of various products and components. The MFG Welder 3 demonstrates proficiency as a welder and fabricator in the following of established procedures and guidelines; understanding drawings and blueprints, adhere to the standard procedures in the use of equipment when engaging in any fabrication processes. Able to work independently or as a member of a team to provide fabrication services that satisfy customer needs and achieve departmental goals.

Mid-level position – Generally has a minimum of four years of experience and/or demonstrated job relevant knowledge/skills and has obtained welding certifications in the FCAW and GMAW welding processes (1-4 G/F). The MFG Welder 3 has moderate knowledge of standard and technical concepts, practices, and procedures; performs a variety of standard, complex, and technical tasks; is indirectly supervised and self-starting;

and a team member of product production workflow. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis:
