Manufacturing Welder

Holt Group is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Welder 3 to join our production team. In this advanced welder role, you'll fabricate and assemble metal components for industrial products, interpreting blueprints and welding symbols to perform high-quality MIG, TIG, and flux-core welds. You will set up equipment, position and clamp work pieces, and use jigs, fixtures, and measuring tools to ensure precise assemblies.

The Welder 3 troubleshoots fit-up issues, inspects welds to meet quality and safety standards, and collaborates with supervisors and engineers to improve processes and support efficient, on-time production.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced MIG, TIG, and flux-core welding on steel and other metals for manufactured products
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to plan and execute work
• Set up, adjust, and maintain welding equipment and related tools
• Fit, align, and clamp components using jigs, fixtures, and measuring tools
• Inspect welds for quality, dimensions, and adherence to specifications
• Troubleshoot and correct weld and fit-up issues to meet production standards
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to improve processes
• Maintain accurate production and quality records as required
