Job Description
The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems and equipment. This role supports overall facility operations by ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment while responding to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Pay$26.00/hour. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Responsibilities- Perform general maintenance and repairs on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks and scheduled inspections
- Respond to work orders and service requests in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to equipment, fixtures, and facility infrastructure
- Maintain and repair doors, flooring, lighting, ceilings, and other building components
- Assist with minor installations, equipment setup, and facility improvements
- Conduct routine facility walkthroughs to identify maintenance or safety issues
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies
- Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of supplies
- Document work performed and update maintenance systems or logs
- Support emergency maintenance and after‑hours needs when required
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- 2–4 years of general maintenance or facilities experience
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs across multiple trades
- Strong problem‑solving and time‑management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills for work order systems
