* The
** Utility Technician
** is responsible for supporting facility operations through routine maintenance, cleaning, and operation of utility systems and equipment. This role assists with maintaining a safe, efficient, and functional environment by performing a variety of tasks across multiple building systems and services.
** Pay: $19.00/hour.*

** Responsibilities*
* + Assist in the operation, maintenance, and repair of utility systems such as water, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical equipment
+ Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on facility systems and equipment
+ Support troubleshooting of basic issues related to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of mechanical rooms, utility spaces, and work areas
+ Monitor building systems and report any irregularities or needed repairs
+ Assist skilled trades (plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians) with projects and repairs
+ Perform minor repairs such as replacing filters, bulbs, belts, and basic components
+ Handle general facility upkeep tasks including waste removal, material handling, and equipment setup
+ Follow all safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company policies
+ Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of supplies
+ Document completed tasks and update work orders as required
+ Respond to emergency situations or service calls as needed
** Qualifications*
* + Must have Valid Driver's License
+ 1-3 years of maintenance, facilities, or utility-related experience preferred
+ Basic understanding of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
+ Ability to use hand and power tools safely
+ Strong work ethic and willingness to learn multiple trades
+ Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
+ Good communication and time management skills
