Responsible for completeness and accuracy of all customer orders, operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, barcode scanners, and wrapper machines, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Retrieve customer orders or freight packing slips, ensuring part number and quantity accuracy.
- Build and identify pallets with orders and position them for the wrapper machine.
- Shrink wrap customer orders, move them to loading docks, and repack/weigh as required.
- Report quality and inventory variances.
- Stock raw and finished goods manually or with warehouse equipment.
- Distribute raw materials to production lines using requisitions.
- Perform ERP transactions to receive raw materials into inventory and transfer to production departments.
- Arrange floor stock replenishments.
- Pick, transact, and move material accurately using barcode scanning technology.
- Load customer orders onto trucks (LTL or FTL) after billing and release to ship.
- Maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
- Keep workspace clean and organized.
- Follow facility and safety rules, company regulations, and core values.
- Assist with other warehouse functions as needed, including assembling custom filter orders.
- Drive Camfil van or box truck for local deliveries.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, procedure manuals, and routine reports.
- Ability to speak English effectively.
- Strong numerical skills and ability to work with multiple units of measure.
- Regularly stand, walk, and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Certification to operate a forklift.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems (barcode, AS400).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organization and time‑management skills.
Regularly stand and walk. Frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Work EnvironmentWork occurs in office, warehouse, and plant environments. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required in certain areas. Exposure to varied lighting and operational conditions.
