About Our Agency

I opened my agency in 2000 and currently lead a small but growing team of two. Before becoming an agent with State Farm, I worked in claims management, which gave me a strong understanding of the customer experience and the importance of doing things the right way.

I’m a graduate of Texas State University (formerly Southwest Texas State University). I have two children and four grandchildren, and family is a big part of my life.

Our culture is close-knit and family-oriented, with a small office environment where everyone works together. We stay involved in the local community and value building connections with the people we serve. I’m looking for someone who is confident, personable, and enjoys building strong relationships with customers. Role Description

As Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member for Alan Cox - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

Responsibilities
  • Manage customer accounts and update information in the database.
  • Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries.
  • Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status.
  • Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
