About Oak Valley Dental Care

Oak Valley Dental Care in Killeen, TX is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team. The practice is led by Dr. Agbola with a supportive, collaborative clinical environment that includes two seasoned hygienists.

The Role

As a Dental Hygienist, you will be an integral member of the patient care team, providing comprehensive hygiene services, patient screenings, and clinical support. You will be supported by a robust mentor program and opportunities for continuing education to enhance your clinical skills.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Current dental hygienist license in Texas and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
  • CPR certification
Preferred Experience
  • 1+ years of clinical experience
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care
  • Clinical versatility as required by the office
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties as required by the office, doctor, or Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
  • Availability to attend virtual or in person training sessions periodically throughout the year
  • Must undergo a tuberculosis (TB) test during the pre-employment process; not required in FL or TN
