Physician Assistant - Endocrinology| Permanent Role
- Location: Killeen, TX 76543 (with potential travel to Temple, TX)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Guaranteed: 40 Hours
- Compensation: Based on experience.
- Provide patient evaluations, diagnostic testing, and treatment planning for endocrine disorders (e.g., diabetes, thyroid conditions).
- Develop and implement comprehensive, outcomes-based treatment plans.
- Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
- Counsel patients regarding disease management, preventive care, and behavioral modifications.
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.
- Strong knowledge of diagnosing and treating endocrine disorders.
- Familiarity with treatment alternatives, medication interactions, and preventive care.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.
- Proficiency with computers and EMR systems.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Experience: Open to new graduates; less than 1 year of experience accepted.
- PA License - Must hold an active license in Texas.
- NCCPA Certification - Current certification required.
- BLS Certification - Basic Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer).
