The faculty member will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Psychology. Additional responsibilities may include student academic advising, engaging in university events, and conducting research and scholarship activities.
Minimum Requirements- Master’s degree in Psychology or a closely related field (required for undergraduate courses)
- Doctorate degree in Psychology or a closely related field (required for graduate courses)
- Degrees approved by Texas A&M University and recognized by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools
- Ph.D. approved by Texas A&M University and recognized by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools
- Teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, including active engagement of students in the learning process
- Experience teaching online courses with integration of research-based practices in course design and delivery
- Demonstrated teaching excellence, evidenced by evaluation from peers, department head, and college dean
- Record of scholarly activity beyond that required for completion of the terminal degree
- Possession of the minimum credential standards of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACSCOC), including at least 18 graduate semester credit hours in the subject area
- Effective communicator who can collaborate with a multifaceted group of stakeholders
