Position Summary

Adjunct Faculty – Elements of Nutrition (NUTR 100) – Killeen, TX (on‑site). This course explores the scientific and quantitative foundations of human nutrition and how nutrition integrates across scientific disciplines to provide essential nutrients.

• Engage adult learners through frequent interaction, motivating them to succeed.
• Guide students in collaborative, problem‑ and project‑based learning demonstrations.
• Provide rich, regular constructive feedback, using rubrics for assessment and recognizing student accomplishments.
• Demonstrate current subject‑matter expertise and help students connect concepts across their program.
• Provide feedback to program chair on curricular improvements.

• Master’s degree in Nutrition, Health Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Professional experience in nutrition, health management, or a related field.
• Teaching experience with adult learners online and in higher education preferred.

• Salary commensurate with experience; step ranges per credit hour (Instructor: $806–$1,050; Associate Adjunct Professor: $947–$1,205; Adjunct Professor: $1,023–$1,645).
