Third Future Schools will provide student elective access through DYAD Electives, a specialized experiential learning model for students. This model is designed to build critical thinking, communication, creativity, and other essential 21st‑century skills through hands‑on learning experiences. Students are grouped and participate in elective‑style courses that may include technology, fitness, arts, and other enrichment experiences.

Job DescriptionDYAD consultant role within the DYAD program. DYAD means “two in one” and reflects the connection between classroom learning and community‑based expertise. DYAD is designed to be a bridge between the classroom and the community by bringing in individuals with real‑world knowledge and first‑hand experience to provide students with meaningful, hands‑on learning opportunities. A Music Consultant helps students build confidence, creativity, discipline, and habits of success through engaging instruction in rhythm, instruments, vocal practice, movement, music appreciation, and other age‑appropriate music activities.
Key Responsibilities of a DYAD Consultant- Provide engaging, structured, and experience‑based instruction in music
- Develop and provide your own curriculum aligned to the elective you teach
- Independently plan, lead, and manage a class that reflects both your expertise and the expectations of the DYAD program
- Create a safe, orderly, and productive learning environment
- Actively teach, monitor, and engage students throughout the class period
- Maintain strong classroom management and uphold school expectations
- Ensure students are participating in meaningful, hands‑on learning experiences
- Communicate professionally with campus staff and leadership
- Be prepared, consistent, and dependable in daily instruction
- Use your expertise to connect classroom learning to real‑world experiences
- Contribute positively to the culture of the school and the integrity of the DYAD program
- Create opportunities for parents and families to see and celebrate what students have accomplished through class showcases, performances, presentations, or other demonstrations of learning
- Skill, knowledge, and first‑hand experience in music
- Ability to work effectively with students in a school setting
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom leadership skills
- Ability to provide structured, engaging, and experience‑based learning
- Commitment to professionalism, consistency, and student engagement
This is an hourly position paid at $30 per hour.
