• Active Special Education Teacher License issued by the state of Texas
• Dual certification required: EC-12 SPED and either 4-8 Core (for middle school) or 7-12 Core (for high school)
• Experience working with diverse student populations, including those with special needs and varying learning abilities
• Strong collaborative skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and school staff
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management abilities
• Flexibility, patience, and a genuine passion for student growth and development

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction aligned to students unique needs and strengths
• Work collaboratively with general education faculty and support staff
• Track and report on student progress, providing regular updates to parents and administration
• Create a safe, positive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages learning and social development
