Job Description Description of Job Responsibility/Duty- 100% - Teaches an undergraduate level class in criminal justice as needed.
- Writes syllabi for the courses to be taught using the approved format of the College of Arts and Sciences.
- Meets with students enrolled in their classes when students need additional assistance with class material and assignments.
Primarily responsible for the teaching/learning process. Adjunct instructors are hired to teach on a temporary and part-time basis. Adjunct instructors teaching courses for credit must meet the same requirements for professional and scholarly preparation as their full-time counterparts teaching in the same discipline.
Minimum Qualifications- Master’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field and undergraduate teaching experience
- Ph.D. in Criminal Justice or related field
- Experience in teaching in criminal justice.
- Show expertise in and commitment to undergraduate criminal justice education.
- Exhibit enthusiasm for undergraduate teaching and employing innovative teaching methods.
