Personal Enrichment Instructor- DIY Crafts

This job performs general instructional work and must be knowledgeable in the subject area being taught. Position will know procedures to achieve a positive learning environment for students and create a favorable work environment for the Continuing Education department.

• High School or GED required with acceptable combinations of education and work experience.
• Pertinent certifications when required for subject matter taught.

• One to five years of experience working in subject area to be taught.

• Ability to maintain an effective classroom learning atmosphere.
• Ability to work under precise and exacting conditions.
• Ability to interact effectively with the public, students, faculty and college personnel.
• Track attendance and effectively conduct the instruction assigned for the course.

• Teach selected assigned course.
• Write assigned syllabi and provide effective training.
• Assist the department in recruiting activities.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or Associate Dean.
