Central Texas Children's Academy in Killeen, TX is looking for a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners by creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum aligned with early childhood development standards
• Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment for children
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides
• Monitor and document children's developmental progress and communicate updates to parents and guardians
• Build positive relationships with families through regular communication and parent engagement
• Ensure classroom compliance with state licensing regulations and health and safety standards
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
• Previous experience in a licensed childcare or early childhood education setting
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and early childhood curriculum
• Strong classroom management and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children, families, and staff
• Must meet Texas childcare licensing background check and health requirements
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
