We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Credentialed Tax Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of federal and state tax laws, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding service to clients. This role involves providing expert tax advice, preparing accurate tax returns, and supporting clients through complex tax situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual federal and state tax returns with accuracy and efficiency.
• Research and deliver clear, accurate tax guidance using government resources, professional tools, and internal expertise.
• Resolve tax-related inquiries and troubleshoot client issues applying company policies and procedures.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all client interactions and case resolutions.
• Assist clients with tax planning strategies, identifying deductions and credits.
• Stay current with tax law changes to ensure compliance and provide updated advice.
• Collaborate internally to improve processes and client experience.
• Support clients via video, phone, and chat with professional and friendly service.
• Ensure all work complies with legal standards, ethical guidelines, and company policies.

Candidate Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or other recognized Tax Preparer credentials.
• Must hold or be able to obtain required state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Active PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number).
• Recent experience preparing individual 1040 tax returns.
• Proficient with tax software and general computer operations.
• Willing to obtain a dedicated, hardwired internet connection.

Conditions of Employment

• Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based.
• Willing to submit to background/security investigation and drug screening; employment contingent on results.

Physical Requirements

This role is primarily sedentary, involving sitting/standing for long periods, operating a computer and office equipment, with occasional movement around the office.
