Certified Public Accountant

• Financial Reporting:
  Preparing monthly FLASH reports, quarterly Call Reports, and consolidated financial statements.
• Month‑End Leadership:
  Managing the month‑end closing process and reviewing journal entries and reconciliations completed by Staff Accountants.
• Process Innovation:
  Identifying opportunities to automate workflows and implementing new software procedures to keep the department efficient and compliant.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  Assisting with annual external audits and maintaining standards required by regulatory bodies such as the OCC, FDIC, and Federal Reserve.
• Operational Oversight:
  Managing property taxes and renditions for over 300 locations, while processing intercompany rebills and allocations.

  Mentoring staff through cross‑training and participating in industry webinars to stay ahead of banking and accounting trends.

Working hours:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a talent for report writing or ad hoc data analysis.
• An ability to remain organized while managing multiple deadlines and complex data sets.
• A willingness to travel occasionally to meet business needs and a desire to help teammates with daily tasks.
• Comfortable presenting financial findings and working alongside the Deputy Controller to streamline operations.

A Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting or Finance.

4-7 years

• You must hold an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• Between three and eight years of professional accounting experience.
• A developed understanding of accounting principles and experience with automated accounting systems.
• Ability to pass a background investigation according to company policy.
