Financial Analyst

Job Title

Assist in the analysis of data and extracts and defines relevant information; interpret data for the purpose of determining past performance and/or to project a future trend. Perform moderately complex statistical analysis of data reported in the various banking and financial systems. Develop reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis. Use various software applications, such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports.

Participate in various projects as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a sitting stationary position for extended periods of time
• Constantly operate a computer and other office machinery
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Bachelors Degree, coursework in Finance or Accounting preferred. At least 18 years of age. 1 to 2 years related analytical experience and/or system/database development experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Access. Oracle Smart View and Financial Reporting experience preferred. Capable of meeting strict deadlines. Must be detail oriented, analytical, and organized. Capable of multi-task and meeting strict deadlines. Able to effectively work with employees at all levels.

Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment.
