Job Description
As a Relationship Banker, you will hold a key position within our bank, responsible for establishing and nurturing customer relationships, opening and managing accounts, and driving business growth through referrals to various sales departments. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service and expanding the bank's client base, fostering strong relationships, meeting financial needs, and contributing to the bank’s success and reputation within the community.

Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with customers.
- Safely and accurately handle cash, coins, and negotiable instruments, following established cash-handling procedures, while processing a wide range of banking or teller transactions such as deposits and withdrawals in adherence to established procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Open and service various types of checking and savings accounts, documenting all services completed on customers’ accounts.
- Hold conversations with customers to understand their current and future financial needs and identify opportunities for product recommendations.
- Provide exceptional service through the SWARM Banking approach, greeting customers by name as they walk into lobbies.
- Help build the business by contributing toward monthly sales and service metrics.
- Refer customers to specialized departments such as mortgage, wealth management, and insurance.
- Onboard new customers through follow‑up routines to ensure successful use of our products.
- Utilize technology to educate customers on the full range of digital banking, including virtual tellers, the mobile app, and safe online banking habits; serve as a point of contact for customers facing digital banking issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Banking knowledge: familiarity with banking operations, procedures, and financial products; understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements.

- High school diploma required.
- Four‑year degree strongly preferred.
- Three years of cash‑handling experience strongly preferred.
- Two years of retail banking experience strongly preferred.
- Three to five years of customer service or sales experience required.
- Experience opening accounts for small‑business customers.
Hours will vary depending on the assigned location. Consistent weekend availability on Saturdays from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm is required.
