Full time, day shift (United States of America). The position is located at 2201 S CLEAR CREEK RD, Killeen, Texas 76549.

We are hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Emergency Department (ED) triage. The role is available during day and nights.

• Performs, properly documents, and reports all procedures in accordance with departmental and hospital policy.
• Recognizes potential emergency or life-threatening situations and notifies Nurse Leader or ED Provider.
• Demonstrates skill and judgment necessary to implement physician’s orders, procedures, and protocols of care, providing quality patient care.
• Remains flexible to changing systems and demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work habits, treating staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect.
• Understands computer downtime procedures and proficiently uses the electronic medical record (EMR) for retrieval of patient information.

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
• Emergency Medical Tech Cert (EMT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
• IV Certified (IV) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
• Licensed Paramedic (PARA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Pay Range: $16.66 - $26.65
