Responds to telephone inquiries from individuals seeking mental health care or information about mental health-related services.;
Admits patients to the hospital and registers outpatients with appropriate physician orders or transfers to another facility.;
Reviews all paperwork accompanying patients to ensure adherence to hospital and regulatory policies.;
Staffs a crisis hotline as needed.;
Assesses, plans, evaluates, and implements admissions for all Behavioral Health units according to department-specific criteria.
