Position: Caregiver Killeen TX 76542
We need a female caregiver for a female VA client in Killeen, area code 76542. The shift is Monday-Wednesday and Fridays, from 11:15-1:15. This client needs companionship and light housekeeping, as well as assistance with personal care (bathing, dressing and assistance with toileting). We have a comprehensive program that delivers in-depth information on clients and care tasks, so caregivers can be prepared and confident to provide the best care to their client.

Duties included are:
· Experience is required with Activities of Daily Living such as dressing, grooming, feeding, incontinence care, transferring and ambulation assistance
· Experience with care of Alzheimer's and Dementia patients would be desirable
· Medication Reminders
· Light housekeeping
· Meal Prep and Assist with Feeding if necessary
· Companionship· Possible transportation of clients or run of errands

Qualifications of the ideal candidate:
· Ability to treat and care for seniors and special needs clients with dignity and respect
· Successfully complete a background check, competency quiz and pass references
· If you drive, you must possess a car, valid drivers license and auto insurance.
· Experience in the field (facilities, in-home agencies, etc.) or with family members
· Experience in bathing, toileting and ambulating clients
· Ability to follow detailed instructions to execute the care plan
· Ability to move, bend, stretch and lift (up to 35 pounds)
· Willing to travel at least 15 miles for assignments
