Career Advisor – Adaptive Construction Solutions Pay & Benefits

$55,000-$57,000 annually, plus full benefits. Mileage reimbursement is provided for approved business travel.

The Opportunity

Help job seekers move toward long-term career and economic success. The Career Advisor provides career coaching, case management, and employment services to workforce program participants. This role assesses needs, develops individualized employment plans, connects participants to training, supportive services, community resources, and employment opportunities, and provides ongoing coaching while meeting program and grant requirements.

What You'll Do
  • Manage an assigned caseload and provide career coaching, case management, employment services, follow-up, and retention support.
  • Complete participant eligibility, enrollment, assessments, and employment planning in accordance with program requirements.
  • Develop and monitor individualized employment plans tied to participants' career and training goals.
  • Connect participants with training, supportive services, community resources, employers, and employment opportunities.
  • Collaborate with workforce partners, employers, and community organizations and participate in community events and recruitment activities.
  • Maintain accurate case-management records, track performance indicators, support reporting and quality assurance, and use data to improve service delivery.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field preferred; associate degree with additional relevant experience will be considered.
  • 3+ years of career services, case management, or workforce development experience.
  • Experience working with veterans or other priority populations facing barriers to training and employment.
  • Familiarity with workforce development programs, grant-funded initiatives, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, organization, time-management, problem-solving, and technology skills.
Travel

Travel approximately 25% within the assigned service region, plus travel to the Houston headquarters as needed. Mileage is reimbursed for approved business travel.
