Linux Systems Admin

The Linux Systems Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of Linux-based systems and related infrastructure. This role ensures system reliability, security, and performance while supporting modern Dev Ops practices, including containerization, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate has strong technical aptitude, is self-driven, and can independently research and resolve complex issues while effectively communicating with cross‑functional teams.

• Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat systems and associated infrastructure
• Support system upgrades, patching schedules, and ongoing maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with security standards, system hardening practices, and company policies
• Monitor system performance and availability using logging and monitoring tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, application, and infrastructure issues across Linux, Windows, and web environments
• Administer and support containerized environments (Open Shift, Kubernetes, Docker)
• Assist in the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to support deployment and system integration efforts
• Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures
• Manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

• 2–4 years of experience in systems administration and Red Hat
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience)
• Hands‑on experience with Linux systems administration and Windows (required)

• Infrastructure as Code:
  Terraform, Ansible
• Monitoring & Logging:
  Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk
• Security:
  Web application security fundamentals, vulnerability awareness, patch management, and system hardening
