Help Desk Technician

Assisting customers who are experiencing any procedural or operating difficulty with the use of IT applications, products, or services.

• Provides support for all Information Technology products and services which may include answering questions, troubleshooting problems, teaching, or instructing customers regarding software or hardware functionality, and communicating policy

• Resolve work orders and elevate complex and high priority problems to the appropriate support group for resolution.

• Determine the most effective manner to resolve client's technical issue. Engages in research and in-depth troubleshooting to resolve technical issues.

• Install and support a multi-factor authentication system ensuring authorized customers gain appropriate access

• Works on Helpdesk related projects

• Participate in IT-related projects, collaborating with team members and departments

• Associate’s degree in a related field; or

• Two years’ experience in a technical support and help desk role; or

• A+, Security+, Network+ and Microsoft certifications are preferred; or

• Any equivalent combination of education and experience

• Must have a valid driver's license by date of hire

• Must have the ability to work flexible hours as required. Including some nights and weekends.

• Must be able to pass FBI criminal background fingerprint check and have the ability to comply with state and federal requirements for criminal justice information security standards
