Computer Technician

• Base Pay $23.05 / Hour
• Required Degree High school

Description

Installs and configures computer workstations, associated peripheral devices, and local area networks.

• Maintaining and providing technical support for all audio/video devices, overhead projector, and smart board deployed on all city designated conference, events, and general-purpose rooms
• Respondingtoallopensupportticketscreatedandassignedwithinadefined Service Level  Agreement (SLA)
• Providing technical security analysis of open threats and mitigation recommendation
• Identifying and defining system security requirements, conducting
  
  Windowssecurityvulnerabilityassessments, and conducting analysis on system logs and malware
• Assisting in the development of policies and procedures for enterprise security infrastructure
• Installingor repairing Windowscomputerswithstandardizedapplicationsandsoftware

• High school diploma or equivalent, and
• Three (3) years’ experience in computer technical support; or
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience
• A+, Security+, Network+ and Microsoft certifications are preferred
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience

• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license by date-of-hire
• Must be able to pass FBI criminal background fingerprint check and have the ability to comply with state and federal requirements for criminal justice information security standards
