Manager, Construction Remediation Project Management

Brown and Caldwell is seeking a Senior Project Manager focused on Private Sector and Municipal markets with a proven track record developing and delivering Environmental Construction Services (ECS) projects through collaborative at-risk delivery models, including design-build (DB), engineering-procurement-construction (EPC), construction management at risk (CMAR), and progressive forms thereof. Serving as Deputy to the Collaborative Delivery Enterprise (CDE) ECS Director, this leader will assemble and manage multidisciplinary teams across environmental science, engineering, compliance and permitting, cost estimating, procurement, pre-construction, construction, operations and maintenance (O&M), and external subcontractor and supplier partners to deliver integrated ECS solutions within our growing Construction Services (CS) practice.

Targeted services include environmental remediation, mitigation, restoration, and closure projects, as well as smaller industrial and municipal water/wastewater projects, typically under $5M, involving new construction, modifications/upgrades, or pilot testing.

Success in this role requires strong networking, communication, and collaboration across BC business units, shared services, design services, and technical practices. The Senior Project Manager will provide development and delivery leadership for key private and municipal clients, including private-sector production markets such as distribution, food and beverage, mining, and manufacturing, as well as energy markets such as oil/gas, chemicals, power, and technology.

The successful candidate will sustain and grow significant revenue by maintaining, leveraging, and expanding strong internal relationships along with key clients, subcontractors, and suppliers at national and local levels while aligning stakeholders to deliver CDE ECS assignments that meet company standards for safety, quality, risk management, and profitability and exceed client expectations.

While this role may be remote with travel, candidates located near BC's Ramsey New Jersey, New York City, or Philadelphia offices is preferred. Other locations of interest include Houston, Denver, Tampa/Orlando, Atlanta, Los Angeles/Irvine, Walnut Creek.

This role requires travel for multiple consecutive days and sometimes on weekends, up to 20% annually. This may include job-site duty for up to two weeks per trip home to support on-site construction and safety management.
