Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX, a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin, is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse for our Observation Unit.
ScheduleFull time – 36 hours per week – night shift.
Unit SummaryThe 31‑bed Observation Unit serves adult and geriatric patients, diagnosing, monitoring, and treating them within 36 hours. Scope includes:
- Chest pain
- CHF
- Syncope
- Dehydration
- Abdominal‑gastrointestinal conditions

Requirements- Graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing.
- ADN required; BSN preferred.
- Active RN license.
- Minimum six months of RN experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Graduate of an accredited program specializing in nursing.
- RN license.
- BLS certification within 30 days of starting the role.
