Job Summary

Full-Time – 36 hours/week

Registered Nurses to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. The hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.

Unit: 38-bed unit focused on providing high-level direct and individualized care. Offers ample learning opportunities with a full spectrum of medical diagnoses and comorbidities.

• Sepsis
• Pulmonary conditions or respiratory distress
• Chest pain
• Infection
• Patients requiring isolation, including negative airflow rooms
• Patients requiring skin and wound care including wound vacs
• Patients requiring scopes, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, paracentesis, angio-cath, pacemaker insertions and chest tubes
• Enteral feeding tube insertion and maintenance
• Patients requiring cardiac monitoring
• GI abnormalities
• Trach care
• Genitourinary abnormalities

• Graduate of RN School of Nursing
• ADN required
• Must be licensed to practice professional nursing by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners

• Graduate of an accredited program
• Specialized field of study should be nursing
• RN license
• Must have BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role
