Position Summary

Registered Nurse – Medical Telemetry at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital, Temple, Texas. Full‑time, 36 hours per week with day and night shifts.

The 38‑bed Medical Telemetry Unit focuses on providing a high level of direct and individualized care. It offers learning opportunities across a full spectrum of medical diagnoses and comorbidities.

• Sepsis
• Pulmonary conditions or respiratory distress
• Chest pain
• Infection
• Patients requiring isolation (negative airflow rooms)
• Patients requiring skin and wound care (including wound vacs)
• Patients requiring scopes, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, paracentesis, angio‑cath, pacemaker insertions, and chest tubes
• Enteral feeding tube insertion and maintenance
• Patients requiring cardiac monitoring
• GI abnormalities
• Trach care
• Genitourinary abnormalities

• Graduate of an RN School of Nursing (ADN required)
• Licensed to practice professional nursing by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners

• Graduate of an accredited program
