Job Description- Participates in continuous education and professional development.
- Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitors and records patients' vital signs and medical information.
- Provides wound care and assists with medical procedures.
- Educates patients and families about health conditions and care plans. Coordinates with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Advocates for patients' needs and preferences within the healthcare team. Maintains accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills [Required]
- Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures [Required]
- Ability to work as a Team player within a unit [Required]
- Effective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skills [Required]
- EKG (based on patient population; see document EKG and Advanced Life Support Requirements) [Required]
- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
- 1+ years experience in obstetric, labor and delivery, antepartum [Required]
- Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) [Required]
Physical Requirements -
Pay Range$33.28 - $61.91
