Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join our Observation Unit.
ScheduleFull Time – 36 hours per week – Night shift 7 pm‑7 am (night shift only).
Unit SummaryThis 31‑bed nursing unit provides the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients ranging in age from adults to geriatrics. The goal for these patients is to diagnose, monitor, and treat patients within 36 hours. The conditions within scope of service include:
- Chest pain
- CHF
- Syncope
- Dehydration
- Abdominal‑gastrointestinal conditions
- Immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits
- 401(k) savings plan with dollar‑for‑dollar match up to 5%
- Tuition Reimbursement
- PTO accrual beginning Day 1
Note:
Benefits may vary based upon position type and/or level.
The Ideal Candidate
- Graduate of RN School of Nursing
- ADN required; BSN preferred
- Active RN License
- Minimum of 6 months of RN experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire or transfer
