RN Treatment Nurse

Touchstone Communities is seeking a compassionate RN Treatment Nurse to provide specialized clinical care in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. In this role, you'll manage wound and skin treatments, complete focused assessments, and implement individualized care plans that support resident comfort, healing, and dignity. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, educate residents and families, and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive skin and wound assessments for residents
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Administer treatments, medications, and therapies per physician orders
• Monitor healing progress and update care plans and documentation
• Educate residents, families, and staff on treatment plans and skin integrity
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall care
• Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols
• Participate in quality improvement and compliance initiatives
• Document care accurately in EMR and clinical records
• Support orientation and mentoring of nursing staff on treatment procedures
