The RoleThe Store Manager is a key role in retail partner stores’ daily operations. The Store Manager maximizes revenue, profits, and sales goals, and oversees all store activities—including hiring, training, and developing coworkers—and improves processes to increase store sales. This role is performed at a retail partner store location.
CompensationThe Store Manager position receives a salary of $38,880–$47,142 per year, plus potential monthly bonus based on performance. Eligibility for bonus requires active employment and meeting plan requirements.
Key Responsibilities Management and Leadership- Manage and direct day‑to‑day work of all store coworkers.
- Motivate, evaluate, coach, and counsel coworkers; hold them accountable for duties and policy compliance.
- Identify and recommend coworkers for promotion to Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager positions.
- Establish partnerships with personnel to generate referrals and educate on the rental and lease process.
- Train, supervise, and assess coworkers’ dedication to exceptional customer service.
- Make day‑to‑day management decisions regarding personnel, sales, and customers.
- Enhance coworkers’ sales and account‑management skills through training and coaching.
- Address and resolve coworker and customer issues promptly.
- Cultivate a positive work environment to enhance retention and minimize turnover.
- Recruit, interview, and hire coworkers for the store.
- Set and track daily and weekly sales objectives.
- Supervise and guide coworkers in sales activities.
- Facilitate conversion of rental and lease agreements with customers.
- Address challenging accounts requiring managerial intervention.
- Authorize customer commitments.
- Supervise daily completion of coworker duties.
- Communicate and promote the accessibility, flexibility, and convenience of Acima’s services to potential customers.
- Educate customers on lease terms, delivery protocols, and overdue account management to encourage timely payments.
- Oversee sales and account operations and guide customer interactions on leasing options.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven track record of success in retail sales management.
- Strong leadership, motivational, and development skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising principles.
- Familiarity with rental or leasing industry practices is a plus.
- Organized with time‑management skills and ability to multi‑task.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Consistent in‑person attendance to lead and manage store operations.

This is a full‑time position with Monday through Sunday hours. Days and hours vary but will include evenings and weekends.
Physical DemandsThe Store Manager regularly talks and listens to coworkers and customers. The position is highly active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day.
