You will be part of the SES Strategic Business Unit, designing, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security services, including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio‑visual, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command & control for federal, local, and commercial customers.

Execute technical tasks in field operations, performing on‑site installs, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Ensure equipment and system reliability through site surveys, hardware/software configuration, testing, and providing customer support.

• Utilize and understand project safety plans (JHA, AHA, PFW), enforcing adherence to policy.
• Analyze and interpret drawing packages for constructability and accuracy.
• Verify correct charges in timesheets and execute activities within planned durations.
• Track tools, conduct daily inspections, and inventory equipment.
• Participate in 10‑minute daily ORM meetings, ensuring safety compliance.
• Create and execute PITCO plans to guarantee high‑quality testing.
• Install raceway, cabling, racks, enclosures, panels, and mounting hardware, ensuring grounding and NEC compliance.
• Terminate, test, and configure electronic devices, network, and IT equipment.
• Rack and stack head‑end equipment, perform cable terminations, and meet industry standards.
• Communicate with project teams, showing punctuality and preparedness.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers, giving and receiving constructive feedback.
• Plan and prioritize tasks, aligning with M.C. Dean’s vision, mission, and values.
• Survey field conditions, document, and recommend to the project team.
• Additional duties may be assigned.

Clearance/Citizen Type
Applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must be U.S. citizens for classified work. A Public Trust is required.

Key Requirements
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. May require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle.

Education
High‑school diploma or GED required.

Required Progressive Experience

• At least 4 years installing and maintaining electronics systems across multiple platforms.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent time‑management and organizational abilities to meet deadlines and quality objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Vendor certifications for IDS, ACS, CCTV systems (CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems, Airphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows OS).
• Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician or Electrical Apprenticeship program.
• Minimum 3 years of electronic security system experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
