City of Killeen is seeking a Meter Reader to perform routine clerical and semi-skilled utility work in the reading and operation of utility meters. The role involves traveling routes to take readings, inspecting meters, installing/removing meter boxes, and responding to disconnections and reconnections.
Hands-on duties require standing and walking 3–5 miles daily, exposure to extreme weather, and potential electrical shock risk.
