Field Service Electronics Technician

Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions (CPS) Division is currently seeking a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician to join our team of world-class customer service professionals. This position is based in the greater Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX area.

This is a remote position based from a home office with daily travel to customer sites and occasional overnight stays. Company vehicle provided.

As a Field Service Electronics Technician you will provide on-site support, offering emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance and reliability.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $69000 - $101000 a year. Overtime eligible.

Qualifications:

This role could be the next step in your career if you demonstrate the following experience:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in an electrical or engineering discipline or equivalent military experience.
• Five (5) or more years of experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining UPS systems, battery technologies, power electronics, or related electrical power equipment.
• Five (5) or more years of experience working with 480V three-phase electrical systems.
• Experience with direct internal and external customer interaction; verbal and written communication.
• Experience leading projects, mentoring technicians, or serving as a technical lead on customer engagements.
• This role is designated as a Regular Driver per Eaton’s Driver Safety Policy and requires a current, unrestricted driver’s license along with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record. Candidates will be subject to a motor vehicle record check upon hire.
• Must undergo and pass customer entrance requirements as needed, which may include, but is not limited to, periodic background checks and drug screenings.
• Daily travel to customer sites is required, utilizing an Eaton-provided fleet vehicle.
