Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the line services team, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality ground support services for all aircraft and customer. The crew Leader trains, mentors, and evaluates team members, under the direction of the Line Service Supervisor.
Responsibilities- Operating and maintaining large aviation fuel service trucks to fuel civil and military aircraft; operates and maintains aviation fuel storage facilities
- Performing training or other department line service technicians as required by Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 139 Certification
- Assisting the Line Services Supervisor as needed
- Performing quality control checks on commercial bulk fuel deliveries
- Assisting with Charter flights, inspecting vehicles before entering the Security Identification Area (SIDA) perform inspections
- Acting as a receptionist for the general aviation terminal building
- Receiving payments for aviation services performed to include fuel, pushback, de-icing
- Occasionally work near aircraft with high noise levels and may be exposed to hazardous chemicals, aircraft fuel fumes, and moving mechanical parts
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds

Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or equivalent; and,
- One (1) year experience operating civilian or military aviation fuel service equipment, or
- Two (2) years’ experience as an Aviation Line Services Technician, preferred
- Must have a valid Texas driver’s license by date-of-hire
- Employee must pass a FBI fingerprint-based background check by date-of-hire;
- Employee must pass a TSA Security Threat Assessment (STA) by date-of-hire;
- Employee may be required to work nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts;
- Must have successfully completed an aviation fuel training course in fire safety acceptable to the FAA as meeting the requirements of 14 CFR Part 139.321(e)(1) or must successfully complete such a course within ninety (90) days of employment.
